The first episode of Distorted Icons deals with space travel. The whole idea of the program series is based on a found on the flea market in Lisbon, when one of the girls picked up a magazine dedicated to soviet propaganda.

In Kozmizm stories about Yuri Gagarin are told, but you will hear also far more obscure information such as how to colonize the Milky Way, the legend of the lost cosmonauts, or a dwarf sent into space on a suicide mission.

Neatly balancing between radiodrama and documentary the listener is slowly drawn into radio space and kindly invited to drift along.

The episode finishes with a 25 minute music mix, perfect for gazing at the stars and wondering what it was all about.
