Adrian Shephard and Wirebender talk with Jill Newman about Berlin 1980, Ziggy, Iggy and much more

Wirebender, in Berlin on a visit and Adrian Shephard talked in our Radio On studio with their long time friend Jill Newman. The starting point of the talk is the Berlin connection. Jill came to Berlin in 1980 as a young au-pair girl. She was hosted by a family who lived in a house somewhere near a lake, and found herself in a Cindarella scenario. She talks about the people she met in the post-punk days in Berlin, and what happened one Christmas day very long ago.

The second part of the show is dedicated to her teenage memories when she dressed up like a glam girl to see Ziggy Stardust in concert.

You will love the silent parts.
