Coming Soon, Coverage of Disruption Network Lab conference on Bots, as part of the AND-festival in London

All through the year 2015 Radio On has covered the conferences that were organised by Disruption Network Lab. The talks and discussions, held at Kunstquartier Bethanien in Berlin, are still scheduled on our radio.

On 15. April Disruption Network Lab will set up a new conference, curated by Tatiana Bazzichelli. It is part of the AND festival in London. As soon as we get the audio, we will start working on the editing, and get it out to you. Our special reporter The Wirebender will be en lieu and provide us with his impressions as well.

DNL says

“The DNL Bots: Tracking Systems of Control features a keynote speaker, U.S. Air Force whistleblower Cian Westmoreland (Project Red Hand, USA), and a panel discussion that considers the relationship between surveillance and the use of bots. The event focuses on the ‘darker’ side of bot usage, on the issues of surveillance, tracking and whistleblowing. In particular, the use of automated systems for network centric aerial warfare, drone airstrikes, online tracking, and pervasive invisible infrastructures will be analysed and presented. Who is responsible for the output and actions of bots, both ethically and legally?”
