I have been listening to Agnès sound works for Radio On for quite some time now. It is one of the places where she presents her plates, for you listeners to enjoy. When years pass, and practice continues, something must eventually happen, especially when you’re talented.
I sense that Agnès enters a new episode in her sonic life. The initial immediate translation of impressions into sound is still there. Now a new found knowledge enters her works. The sound collages can be understood as essays, or even an academic paper. Listening takes you to the same result as studying.
There is more between the ears than you have heard before.
