Our programmaker Anne F Jacques’, currently artist-in-residence in Marseille, second episode of sounds for post-peak oil evolves around tape loops in walkmans in cardboard boxes beside a subway station; plants rubbing against rotating contraptions; kicking a pebble in a closed room; and more (or less).
Anne is a sound artist living in Montréal, Canada. She does performances and installations, impromptu improvisations, makes soundtracks for Julie Doucet’s animation films, part of minibloc duo with Nicolas Dion.
